Seven charming hills

The Maritsa River divides Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria. Seven hills surround this city of ancient Thrace. The old part of the city is full of museums and art galleries. Visiting the Roman amphitheatre, which is still in use, is a must. It’s also a modern, cosmopolitan city and is the economic centre of Bulgaria.
