Balloons for breakfast

Before Walter White put it on the map, Alburquerque (New Mexico) already had an event capable of attracting crowds. The first edition of the International Balloon Festival took place in 1972 when 13 balloons were set free from a car park. Today, from 7am onwards, 600 hot-air balloons decorate the sky in one of the most photographed displays in the world. The 45th edition is going to be held from 1 to 9 October.
